Options to Stay Connected with the Arts

Good Day Evergreen Playhouse Family and Friends - -

We should be preparing for the closing weekend of “Next to Normal” right now and planning for the next set to load in, instead we are all in a Stay at Home mode of life. This is not anything that I would have expected to have seen in my lifetime and it makes me sad that we don't get to see all of you at the theater. However, I am choosing to find the joy of life right now and realizing we are being given a gift of time -- time to learn how to navigate our jobs online and how to see our families online, time to read, paint, play games with our families, and time to complete those projects that we never found time to do.

A lot of artists are sharing free concerts during this time and some of the theater organizations are sharing free scripts for our reading pleasure and links to free musicals to watch. We will continue to share these concerts, musicals, and scripts on our Facebook page for you to enjoy as well. If you run across one that you think our audiences might enjoy, please let us know.

We are preparing for our rehearsals for “Mamma Mia!” to begin and look forward to sharing that production with you in June. “Next to Normal” is still set to perform in May and “One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest” has been moved to September. If you have tickets to that performance, you will be contacted within the next week with options! We thank you for your patience as we navigate this together.

Our phone is off right now, as with the Stay at Home order, there is no way to retrieve those messages. Please contact us through Facebook or through our email if we can be of assistance.

We look forward to seeing you at the theater when this is all over! We’re working towards that end and planning for the future, so in the meantime, please head to our website and secure your season tickets!

One of the things I would like to ask of our EP family is, if you haven't already, would you consider buying a chair and supporting our seating campaign. Installation of our new 120 seats is scheduled for August, 2020, and if you buy a seat right now, you will receive a season ticket for the 61st season for free AND I will personally throw in a $10 gift certificate for concessions for each chair purchased between now and April 10th.

During this "dark" time for the EP, we need your support to continue to pay our bills and fulfill our commitments. With this loss of ticket income, we are feeling the pinch and hope that we can count on you.

Stay inside, stay safe, stay healthy AND should you need us, we are here to help you out too.
