For over 60 years, our patrons have explored new worlds, engaged with big ideas, and been dazzled by memorable performances produced by the Evergreen Playhouse. We’ve listened to you over the past few years and have made several improvements to the space; from air conditioning, upgrading our concessions lobby, microphones for musicals, and new stage lighting. Now you’ve told us that it’s time for new seats, and we agree.

In honor of the 60th Anniversary of the Evergreen Playhouse in 2019-2020, we invited you to become a part of the EP’s future by purchasing and naming a seat in recognition of a loved one, yourself, a special date, or your business or club on one or more of the new, fixed seats in the Evergreen Playhouse. An engraved plate with your specified copy will be placed on the seats that have been installed in the summer of 2020.

Make a name for yourself in the arts with a fully tax deductible contribution that will go toward the renovation and upgrade of the Evergreen Playhouse’s seating space. Each seat is $385 and includes the custom name plate.

Name Your Seat

Be recognized by any patron of the Evergreen Playhouse by naming one of our new 120 seats. Your name will appear on a permanent plaque on the seat and will be assigned on a first come first served basis. As we transform our classic seats to something more comfortable, naming a seat is a one-of-a-kind opportunity - make your mark on history today!

FAQs

What can I put on my plaque?

• Up to 3 lines of 21 characters each. We reserve the right to reject any seat inscriptions containing offensive or inappropriate language or that does not meet the Evergreen Playhouse guidelines and policies.

Is my contribution tax-deductible?

• Yes! It is 100% tax-deductible.

Am I guaranteed to be able to sit in the seat with my name on it?

• Tickets to all performances are sold first-come, first-served, so unfortunately we cannot guarantee that you will be able to sit in “your” seat.  However, if your seat is available, we will do our best to accommodate your request to sit there. We will continue to utilize our seating priority system for season ticket holders and subscribers during our subscription process.

I’ve purchased a seat either in person, through the mail, or online. Now what?

• A member of the EP board will contact you to confirm the details of your selection and we will send a proof of the nameplate for your final approval before having it engraved. If you ordered online or by mail, then we will set aside your EP cushion at the Box Office for you to pick up at your convenience.
